John Tabatabai, runner up in 2007 went out of the WSOPE main event in the last action of day 3. With a pair of aces in hand, Tabatabai was duly sent home by Peter Gould who had pocked 7’s that lead to a full house over 10’s. For Peter Gould it means that day four is a reality and he has also confirmed his place in the money. For poor old John, our thoughts here at Poker-shark.co.uk are with you!
So day three is over but there are still some serious names on the list. Its not a Poker Pro that catches our eye though! Celebrity poker players are all the rage and Tottenham & Manchester Utd Legend, Teddy Sheringham is still in the mix with a chip stack of 272,500. Its Matt Hawrilenko, that leads the way going into day 4 of the WSOPE main event. American Hawrilenko collected his first WSOP bracelet this year and has so far earned close to $1.3 million at the tables.
Hawrilenko isn’t the only big name in the there and we believe that this main event is as good as any. Look out for the main man, Mr Doyle Brunson and of course never forget Daniel Negreanu placed 12th with a healthy 314k.
