Day 2 of the WSOPE Main event has been and we still have plenty of big name players competing for the title. Ian Munns will be taking the biggest chip stack into the 3rd day (528k) but will be looking over his shoulder for the likes of Liz lieu (180k) Markus Ristola (205k) Jason Mercier (203k) and WSOPE day 1b leader Steve Zolotow (190k). Steve is actually placed on Ians table for day three so we look forward to that battle!

Brit Ian Munns, who will have the home crowd behind him going into day three, finds himself in unfamiliar territory. His best finish as a pro coming in the  EPT Grand final  where he took 6th place. With Big name players such as Daniel Negreanu and the Poker Godfather himself Doyle Brunson well placed on their respective tables, the WSOPE grand final is set up for a great finish.
Two of the biggest names to drop out of the action on day two of the WSOPE main event were Phil Hellmuth and Howard Lederer. If you are looking at  qualifying for the 2011 WSOPE  or any of the other major live poker tournaments offered by our partner Pokerstars, you can currently  take advantage of a massive $600 welcome bonus.
