PartyGaming no longer has Dikshit at the helm and has appointed a new COO, Chief Operating Officer, Per Widerstr. PartyGaming have released encouraging financial reports showing great profits over the last Q4 of 2009. Their Casino is particularly doing well. The only thing that isn't moving up is PartyGaming's share price. It has not managed to hold a position above £3.00 and is currently sitting at £2.71. They would appear to be a great prospect for anyone wanting to make a little money on stocks over the next 48 months. With PartyGaming paying its dues to the US Government to the tune of $105 million for accepting player revenues after the ban in 2006 rumours have it that they would stand a really good shout of obtaining a licence to provide online poker to an American audience. More political pressure is being placed on the government by Barny Frank to amend the current legislation that bans online poker in the US. If PartyGaming did have a licence to provide the US with online Poker then the Share Price would move North very quickly.
What do you get when you cross one of the biggest European Sports Book Operators with one of the Biggest Poker and Casino Operators in the world? Success!
There were talks of a merger with BWIN at the end of last year but these were played down by both companies. BWIN and PartyGaming together could be a real force to be reckoned with. The gambling sector has grown to a sage where mergers are a logical step to ensure stable growth and expertise in specialist markets. Likewise if a merger does occur the Share Price is likely to rise.
Remember that Share Prices fall as well as drop and we always suggest you speak to a professional financial broker before buying shares as well as completing your own research.
