Pokerstar.com EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final Day 3 is now finished.  The floor has gone from 116 down to the last 24 poker players.  The play on days 3 was fast and furious in places.  We saw a lot of big names leave.  Victoria Coren, poker beauty and journalist left with €40 000.  Coren has done great things for poker especially with the release of her book last year, 'For Richer, for Poorer - a love affair with Poker'  This allowed a lot more women to identify with the game.  Also it is a laugh out loud book that you can buy from Poker Shark Books

Teddy Sheringham left quite early on day 3 of the EPT Grand Final with €20 000 in his pocket.  This has still been a sucessful poker campaign for the former international footballer.  Teddy has that mentality that is found in all great sportsmen and woman.  That is true determinism and the ability to see any failure as feedback.  Teddy will not be satisfied until he has won a tournament such as this.

Day 4 will see the field reduce down to a final table of 8 players.  American poker player Kevin Eyster is looking in good form as he held chip leader status for much of the day.

The leaders at the end of day 3 are:-

Kevin Eyster 2768000
Matt Perrins 2618000
Jean Francois Talbot 2427000
