Day1a at the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure main event is over. 669 players battled it out to reach the next stage of the PCA 2010. Day 1b begins tomorrow with a similar number of people in attendance. Out of the mist at the end of the day came a number of Pokerstar Pro's who have given themselves a good starting platform. Chris Moneymaker, Dennis Phillips and Daniel Negreanu; to name but a few.
One player who really took the day by storm was Wayne Bentley. He nearly has double the chips of the second place Kevin Saul. It will be interesting to see where this guy gets toin the PCA 2010 with such a good stack.
In other Pokerstars news, the mammoth poker house has just broken the guiness book of records by having 149,196 players paid a one-dollar buy-in for the opportunity to compete for a top prize of $50,000 with the top 30,000 players receiving a cash reward. Another great reason to play at Stars. If you are looking for a smaller alternative we would recommend Cake Poker which is available in the US and also on your mobile as long as you have the correct software requirements.
