Phil Laak is on fire at the PartyPoker Premier League IV heats.  He has won both the first and second heat.  Laak has had some of the best competition in the game against him.  Rolande de Wolfe, JC Tran and Phil Hellmuth to name but a few poker greats.  On day one Laak had a slightly easier day as he managed to fend his way to the top spot and netted the $32000 on offer.  Day 2 was not going as fluently until he railroaded JC Tran.  This was the tipping point for Laak as he quickly won some monster pots.

Laak is know as the Unabomber because he wears a hoody and glasses at the poker table.  He is a very proficient executioner at the table with a fantastic mathematical mind.  Laak will be totting up the sponsorship offers flying his way as he must be sought after by some of the giants in the poker industry.

Laaks win should see him at the final table with his 64 points and $64000.

Another heat plays today at 12.00 Vegas time.  We'll let you know if good things goes in three's for Laak.
