Jose Barbero aka Nacho, won the LAPT main event.  The Poker Tournament was held at Punta del Este.  Barbero fought through a field of 307 players.  It took 4 days to battle it out and become the LAPT Champion.  Barbero is one of Pokerstars Pro players and is known at the table as 'Nacho'.

The payout for Barbero was a massive $279,330.  Last year Barbero finished 9th in the LAPT main event.  The Argentinian looks to have found some really strong form which if he continues to show then he will be a real contender for the WSOP.
