Julian Thew has joined the ranks of Pokerstars as his reputation as a great finisher makes headlines across the pond.  Thew was previously signed with William Hill bookmaker.  Thew has won over $2.5 million in prize money and is currently ranked 13th in the European rankings.  Julian last had a big win back in June last year but landed heavily in the money in the EPT Barcelona in Sept 09.

When interviewed about what he thought about his move to Pokerstars, the Nottingham poker pro replied, “I’m thrilled to have been offered a spot on Team PokerStars Pro roster, and I look forward to promoting the brand on my travels throughout the year.”

Pokerstars and Full Tilt are investing in UK Poker talent.  JP Kelly another great British Talent plays for on the Pokerstars books.  Kelly won leg 8 of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour back in Oct 09 and landed in the money at the Aussie Millions in Melbourne.
