Grosvenor UK Poker Tour: The Latest

With two more events before the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Grand Final, we here at Poker-Shark.co.uk thought it would be a great time to see how things are shaping up so far. 

Leg 1 – Brighton, Bernard Litman wins £70,520
Leg 2 – Walsall, Sunny Chattha wins £88,150
Leg 3 – London Victoria, Martin Silke wins 172,850
Leg 4 – Manchester, Simon Moorman wins £88,630
Leg 5 - Newcastle, Tony Phillips wins £47,200
Leg 6 – Luton, Richard Gryko wins £88,550
Leg 7 – Cardiff, Karl Mahrenholz win £38,700
As well as the normal GUKPT legs, there have been four smaller summer series Live Poker events won by, Dhanesh Patel (Bolton), Weland Holyroyd (Aberdeen),  Leigh Gould (Walsall), Thomas Besnier (Coventry).
So what does all of this mean!? Well basically, when the final two legs of the GUKPT are completed we head into the Grand Final which is to be held in the Grosvenor Casino London Victoria on the 19th – 29th November. This £3000 buy in event is one of the biggest in the UK Poker Calendar and certainly a massive attraction to players from around the world.
Next up we have Thanet and Blackpool in the final two legs where John Miller, the current points leader will hope to maintain is place at the top of the board.  In doing do, he will become the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Player of the Year!
