ESPN Extent WSOP rights till 2017

The WSOP is the biggest Poker Tournament in the world and as expected it has a massive following of Poker Junkies that need their thirst for poker quenched.  ESPN, the collosal US sports media company, currently have the rights to broadcast the WSOP event from Las Vegas.  The tournament is held in two stages.  The main event in November and everything else that kicked off earlier this year at the end of May.

The new deal will begin in 2011 and last till 2017.  ESPN have been providing coverage of this poker spectacle since 2003 and they have had to devote more and more air time to it due to its increasing popularity and competition growth.

If you cant get to Vegas than get Satellite TV and start watching the Poker Coverage on ESPN.  You will see the biggest stars in poker at the tables doing what they do best - winning!
