Erik Cajelais wins in the WSOPE 2009 (event 2)
Event two of the 2009 WSOPE has been won by Canadian player and Full Tilt Poker Pro, Erik Cajelais. Erik takes his first bracelet in this series after seeing off the challenge of Mats Gavatin and taking the first prize of £104,677.
Cajelais had a massive chip lead going into the heads up battle and there was never a danger of the man from Quebec taking his first victory on the pro scene since 2006 when he scored $430,000 at the
5th Annual Five Diamond World Poker Classic.
Next up in the WSOPE calendar is the Pot Limit
Omaha £5000 buy in, which kicked off at lunch time today. The
Betfair sponsored series has already broken the record for being the Largest poker event ever to take place in the UK and here at Poker-Shark.co.uk we believe that you will only see this trend continue as we move towards the Main Event.
