Day 2 of the Pokerstars.com EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final is over. There are only 116 poker players left in this tournament. 1st place will be taking home €1.7 million so picking up their bar bill at the end of the tournament won't be an issue (you would hope!) There was some tense moments through the day that saw some big name poker players crash and burn. Of those poker players who left us on day two were the poker beauties Vanessa Rousso, Isabelle Mercier, Erin Schoenburg and new chick on the block Liv Boeree. It always pains me to see them go, poker becomes less of a spectator sport without them.
There are also some great players left in the EPT tournament. Teddy Sheringham is still hanging in there and will definately leave with enough to cover his buy-in. British poker player Neil Channing will be disapointed he hasn't capitalised on his great start. He is currently sitting with 105000 in chips in the bottom third. At the top of the table:-
Nick Schulman 742000
David Sesso 643500
Jean Francois Talbot 635000
Matt Perrins 568000
Sami Kelopuro 552000
Domenico Iannone 536000
Nathan Royce Tuthill 507500
Aleh Plauski 501000
David Paredes 466500
Chris Moneymaker 457000
