Bwin is beginning its Poker Island 2009 tournament .  The Poker Island is running a series of qualifiers throughout June.  The idea of the tournament is this :-

• Enter a Poker Island qualifier - win (you wont get there by losing!)
• The top 5 players each week are jetted to the Luxuary Villa where they live like poker pro's
• At the Villa you get to take part in cool activities.  Stars like the Pussy Cat Dolls and Lady Ga GA have been there in previous years.  And who wouldn't want to see her poker face in the flesh! 
• If you win the Final Table at the Luxuary Villa on Poker Island you win a massive package to Aussie Millions 2010 worth $25000.

Qualification: 08.05. - 23.06.

How To Win your Seat on Poker Island 2009

Freerolls
Take part in one of the daily Freeroll tournaments for free. If you make it into the top 5 players, you will receive a ticket for the online final. These tournaments will be running from 08.05. to 15.06.2009, at 18:45 (GMT +1).

Leaderboard
Every week, there will be a Leaderboard via which you can qualify for the Leaderboard final. Be one of the top 500 players by taking part in the daily Leaderboard tournaments at 22:45 (GMT +1). The ranking is calculated based on the following formula: ((Participant) / (Ranking)) 1/4 * 100
Win the Leaderboard final on 21.06.2009, at 22:45 (GMT +1) and you will be jetting off to PokerIsland.

Online final
Buy directly into the online final for $5+0.50. These tournaments take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays (from 19.05. to 16.06.2009) at 21:45 (GMT +1). Win one of these tournaments, and you’ll be on your way to PokerIsland!

Last chance
This is the very last chance that you will get to be part of the action on PokerIsland. One tournament with a $5+0.50 buy-in where the winner will secure the very last PokerIsland Package! The showdown is on 23.06.2009, at 21:45 (GMT +1). Be careful, though, as only the very best will take part in this tourney!

If you are a Bwin customer and think that the Poker Island 2009 sounds like fun in the sun then all you have to do is:-  

1. Open the bwin Poker download client or play directly in your browser.
2. Select “Tournaments” from the top of the lobby.
3. Search for the “PokerIsland” tournaments.
4. Select one of the tournaments and click on “Go to tournament” and then click “Register”. Wait for the tournament to being and show off your poker skills. Are you good enough for PokerIsland?
