The Anton Wigg, 22 year Swedish Poker Pro from Stockholm took home 3675000 Danish Kroner ($676,000) at the EPT Copenhagen.  Wigg really had to show some determination as he was stuck in a heads up situation with Francesco de Vivo for the best part of 3 1/2 hours.  Copenhagen Casino came to a stand still as they wanted to see a winner in this epic battle of wills.  Poker at this point really comes down to mental stamina.  To keep making very fast calculations in your head after hours of hands is tiring, couple that with the on and off adrelalin rushes that you are desperately trying to supress for fear of giving a tell away the game becomes exhausting.  Wigg will need a rest this.  The good news is he can afford to buy a comfortable one!  Wigg has sprung from no where.  He qualified through a Pokerstars satellite event.  Last October he got a 9th place at an EPT preliminary event in London.  Now Wigg needs to capitalise on this massive success with some good follow up placings.
