Caribbean Poker Rules are easy to pick up and most players find that after the third hand they feel confident in beating the dealer. There are some strategies that can be applied along the way to better your chances of winning Caribbean Poker, we look at those in the strategy section of Poker-Shark.
With Caribbean Poker there are no shared cards and it is usually played online with you versus the dealer rather than other players being involved. If you were to go to Vegas then you may play with other players who are trying to beat the house.
Before any cards are dealt you need to pay an ante. Its important to consider how much you pay out at this stage in your ante bet as if you want to play on after the cards are dealt then your call bet is double you ante stake.
After you place your ante stake then you will be dealt 5 cards and so will the dealer. The dealer will have 4 face down and 1 face up. From the 5 cards you are dealt you need to decide if they are good enough to beat the dealers hand.
If you call the bet then double you ante is staked and the dealers cards are shown. If win then you are paid out depending on what hand you won with.
If we use Titan Poker as an example their payout structure is as follows:-
High Card 1:1
Pair 1:1
2 Pair 2:1
3 of a Kind 3:1
Straight 4:1
Flush 5:1
Full House 7:1
4 of a Kind 20:1
Straight Flush 50:1
Royal Flush 100:1
For the dealer to qualify as having a hand the lowest they must produce is Ace King within the 5 cards they are dealt.
